Eight Celebrity Makeup Artists from the recent SYFY Channel series “Face Off” – Season 2 will participate at the 2012 Midwest Haunters Convention in a “Face Off” vendor booth and serve as competition judges, demo instructors, body painters and more including: Nicholas “Nix” Herrera, Athena Zhe, Beki Ingram, Robert RJ Haddy, Greg Lightner, Brea Joseph, Heather Henry and Sue Lee.
Face Off is a competition/elimination series exploring the world of special-effects make-up artists and the unlimited imagination that allows them to create amazing works of living art.
Weekend activities include several “Face Off” Celebrity Makeup Artist Cast appearances on the MHC Demo Stage – including makeup demonstrations over the weekend on topics such as Trauma Makeup, Extreme Acid Burns and Zombie Flesh as well as a “Face Off” Cast Panel discussion with fan Q&A on Sunday. These events take place on the MHC Vendor Tradeshow floor; admission is $5 for the weekend.
“Face Off” Makeup Artists Nicholas “Nix” Herrera and Athena Zhe will feature body art makeup presentations at the MHC Body Art Fashion Show – sponsored by Evil Twin and Evil Fire Lizard. This Exposition takes place at the MHC Monster Masquerade Party on Saturday, June 9th: at 9 pm; and is sponsored by the Haunted Attraction Association.
“Face Off” Artists will also serve as competition judges infamous Bloody Mary Monster Makeup Wars, Scariest Character and the Ms. Midwest Scary Pageant* (*rated by AOL as one of the top 10 Freakiest in the US). Celebrity guest judges also include: Bobbie Weiner (Bloody Mary), Nick and Brian Wolfe (Evil Twin FX), and Robert Kurtzman (Creature Corps), and many others.
“Face Off” Artists will be at MHC Booth #113 in Columbus Ohio June 9-10 to welcome fans, pose for pictures, sign autographs and answer questions.
